Heidi Daunt

Heidi has resided on the Monterey Peninsula for over 39 years. Passion is what she brings to her job as Branch Manager at TreeHouse Mortgage Group. She takes great joy in helping her clients understand the real estate finance process and in choosing the right mortgage product. She has imparted this same enthusiasm to her team and truly believes success is a team sport. Heidi has continuously earned awards throughout her career in the Finance and Mortgage industry, which spans over 35 years, including being honored as a Top 1% Mortgage Originator in America.

After studying at UC Santa Cruz and at the Sorbonne in Paris and traveling extensively on the Indian Subcontinent, Heidi came to Monterey to attend the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS). She earned her degree in International Policy Studies with focus on the French and Spanish languages. After graduating from MIIS, Heidi attended University in Granada, Spain, and led a group of teenagers by bicycle from Rome to Paris.

Heidi met her amazing husband, local attorney, Philip Daunt, during her time at MIIS. She fell in love and has never left the area, other than going on an adventure or two. She is the mother of Trevor, a Stevenson and UC Santa Barbara graduate, and Alora, a Chartwell and Santa Catalina alum, and graduate from Pitzer College. Following in their mother’s footsteps, both of Heidi’s children are actively engaged in making a difference in the world. Heidi loves living on the Monterey Peninsula, and enjoys an active, wellness filled lifestyle with her husband.

Heidi also has a passion for giving back. She is on the Board of Directors for Chartwell School and has been involved with many organizations over the years including Women’s Council of Realtors, Leadership Monterey, Toast Masters, PTA, and PSI Seminars, and many more. 

She loves to help people succeed and to solve what other people may call “problems” in an outside-the-box way that has not been looked at before. She is currently working on bringing the first Community Co-Working Space to Downtown Monterey, The Pearl Works, located downstairs from the new office located at 288 Pearl St, Monterey.
